PRE MARKET 1/7

DOW reversed 400 points to finish in the negative yesterday but the story was the gap to the upside in the semis. SEMIS up again this morning. NVDA up $3.65 as we write this. This will open it above the highs. BUT IT MUST STICK. The CEO said a lot of things last night in his presentation and for now, market is receptive. ASML up another $9 as it puts in a potential bottom. MU up $4 even though they recently lowered numbers big time. No doubt, yesterday, the market saw something in the semis to wake them up.

The 10 year yield is 4.638% as we write this. Oh…we are watching this.

DOW up about 60. NDX down a few pennies. AAPL down $3 pre-market…2nd downgrade in a week…to a SELL. Bitcoin down a wee bit. Oil up a wee bit. GLD up $1+.

CVNA gets an upgrade even though big report out of accounting crap. Quite bold.

TSM flat in pre market after yesterday’s breakaway gap. GEV was another gap off flat base pretty much flat.

Otherwise, quiet. We do not mind quiet. Quiet enables better patterns.
