Level 2 (history): We’ve been tricked before. They can bury half their nukes and give us the duds for show. Get millions of tons of free food and oil in exchanged for very little.
Level 3 (China): He was obviously given his instructions from his overlords. America has been in a trade war with the Red Empire for fifteen years. We just finally started fighting back. What better way to disarm your enemy than to make peace with them.
Level 4: (Kim): What’s his angle? Consolidate his power, keep his power? Get the Americans off the peninsula?
I’m not saying don’t go for it but understand there’s many levels of intrigue here.
