The leader’s list is a list of what is believed are the best and strongest growth names in the market. This list will typically not include anything that doesn’t trade under 750,000 shares/day but on occasion, one will be put on. At times, a stock will be added after it is extended…where we wait for a secondary buy point. As of right now, not much is happening as growth sucks…and that is putting it mildly. When you have arguably, the #1 stock in past years in AAPL being smoked, it tells you something. On top of that, good gains have been tough to come by. CRM is on list for sales growth as earnings were down last quarter. Same for AMZN.
 
AMZN- In a handle but wide and loose in here.
AMGN- Hovering around pivot.
EXPE- Held 50 day on TRIP news…but nothing happening.
EBAY-Back at pivot and needs to hold 50 day.
HD- Moves a smidge below 50 day. Will stay on list for this second but come off on any more weakness.
MA– Still sitting above 50 day.
REGN- Sitting tight past 2 weeks.
RAX- Holds 50 day and moves nicely Friday.
SHW- Now under 50 day and close to being off list. Has had a big run.
V- Small pullback…no issues.
 
 
 
ULTA– Failed the gap…back on 50 day…comes off list.
 
 
CRM– Added to list and service off of strong breakout.
 
It is end of month, end of quarter and end of year coming up. Last year, the S&P was up 4.1% the week before Thanksgiving and with a constructive pullback in market, thinking the boys will get the job done and rally things into the end of year…but there are no guarantees. The NASDAQ/NDX are underperforming because of AAPL still imploding as analysts now realizing and big money especially realizing there are issues. If Wal Mart lowered prices on the latest iphone, everyone usually follows. The NASDAQ/NDX actually below 200 day average.
 
But the tape is split…retail terrible…but asia/steel and stuff coming on. Utilities and growth terrible but financials, for the most part, are fine. Even airlines have been coming on. Even coal looks to be bottoming.
 
Will be watching RAX for breakout and watching FBHS as it sits flat in here. Otherwise, make sure you hug your children. Very tough few days to watch what happened in Ct.
