Are you really surprised? We aren’t!
A couple of weeks after the primaries, we went on tv and simply stated that the media would no longer play nice-nice with Donald Trump. During the primary, he was ratings. After the primary, he was the enemy.
We went on to sarcastically say the media would blame Trump for the Chicago fire and the San Francisco earthquake. We are not so sure that was sarcasm any more.
What you are seeing is the opposite of what you saw for 8 years. For 8 years, there was no curiosity, no investigations and no inquiring.
Everything was given the benefit of the doubt. Let’s rephrase that. Obama was given the benefit of the doubt. If there was a scandal brewing, it was either not reported or reported as “Republicans claim!” Nothing mattered. If you only watched network news, you may not know that:
Obama’s signature policy move was Obamacare. One of the main architects (Jonathan Gruber) is on video twice stating that they had to lie to Americans to get it passed and that lack of transparency did the job because Americans are stupid.

The IRS visited the White House over 200 times. At the same time, the IRS engaged in an ongoing attack of the opposition to the president. The director of the unit involved (Lois Lerner) took the fifth. But again, nothing to see here.
Obama took all our people out of Iraq even though he was told not to. After things turned for the worse, he stated it was not his decision. Isis grows. Obama calls them the JV team. Many moons later, Obama changes his stance. Finally engages fighting Isis. Media mum!
9 trillion of new debt under Obama’s presidency. Never ever ever reported by media.
Skyrocketing government spending under Obama’s presidency. No biggie!
The first Black president does nothing about the inner-city problem and we mean nothing. A gargantuan missed opportunity. Crickets!
Used 0% interest rates and the printing of $4-5 trillion to prop up economy, not to mention negative rates around the globe and another printing of $15 to 20 trillion. Economy still could not get above 35 in any year. Why report this?
Cut a deal with Cuba. Gives Cuba everything…Cuban people get nothing. Human rights worse than ever. Raul Castro says things will not change. Media glamorizes Cuba.
Cuts a deal with Iran. Gives them tens of billions, and that’s what we know about. Iran says they will not do the things they have said they were not doing in the first place. Iran continues to take hostages. Iran continues to call us the great satan. Iran continues to wish for the death of Israel. Media mum!
Takes the last few weeks in office to release Gitmo prisoners while pissing all over Israel. Media…nada!
Susan Rice all over TV claiming it was a video that caused Benghazi when they already had the proof it was a terror attack. At first, not reported. When questioned, blatant lies ignored.
Two words:red lines. a massive foreign policy mistake.The reason why these bad actors continue to act bad is knowing that the leader of the free world wanted nothing more than to be a spectator. Media? Drops it quickly.
Just ask yourself:
What do you think the media would have done if Rance Priebus handed debate questions to Trump before a debate? What did the media do when they found out Donna Brazile handed debate questions to Hillary Clinton? You don’t remember either. You don’t remember because it was not reported as important and dropped immediately. In fact, all the shenanigans out of Wikileaks were ignored.
What do you think the media would have done if they knew a Republican operative was planting people at Hillary rallies in order to incite violence? What did the media do when a video showed that a Dem operative, Robert Creamer hired people to attend Trump rallies and incite violence? You don’t remember because it was briefly reported and dropped. And Mr. Creamer is the husband of Illinois Rep Jan Schakowsky…but that’s not a big deal…is it?
It is simple…mis-reporting,under-reporting, no reporting and downright protecting of one side while giving a daily colonoscopy of the other side. This has been going on for ages but this time, a man fights back. Obama got every benefit of the doubt. Trump will get none. They not only dislike him. They abhor him.
