GOVERNMENT SPENDING- COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL!
Here we go again. The House and Senate released a 1,050 page spending package. But that is just the appetizer as the pork projects and special interest carve-outs added another measly 1,281 pages of what they call “explanatory statements!”
$34 trillion and counting fast. Federal spending in 5 years has gone up over 50% with most of it being debt from $4.4 trillion to nearing $7 trillion. In just the last 12 months, $2.7 trillion was added to our debt. Someone’s rusty abacus says that debt is growing $1 trillion every 100 days. Doesn’t matter what exactly the numbers are. The most gargantuan slush fund in history is just getting more and more super-sized while we heard the President and his chief economic advisor, Jared Bernstein have the nerve to look into the camera and say they cut debt, deficits and spending. They would not last one minute with us interviewing them. And you are wondering why GDP stats have been in shape.
But this is on both parties. One worse than the other. No one gets a pass. This train has been running down the tracks for years…only this guy decided what the hell? Let’s go for the big enchilada. They will all be gone or retired when this all blows up and when it does, it will just be each side blaming each other while we are the victims…and to be clear, there will be only one outcome and just like the 08 debacle, we will end up paying for it. We the people? Don’t think so! More like We the marks! Jefferson warned us over two centuries ago.
